The best place to farm Adamantite Ore was and still is Shadowmoon Valley. One 30 min session yielded me 63 Adamantite, 53 Fel Iron Ore, 7 Eternium Ore, 3 green gems, 60 Motes of Earth and 7 Motes of Fire. The zone is smaller than Nagrand, so each lap takes perhaps 12 minutes.

Arathi is definetly the best place to go for iron ore. Obtained about 98 Iron, 14 Gold, 6 Silver, and 25 Tin, in about 2 hours. Dont forget to look in Bolderfist Hall, Bolderfist Outpost and the Drywhisker Gorge for extras along the way. And the Lake at Whiterbark Village normally has a few. Happy huntings :D

This is a good way to levelmining from 230 to 305, considering the Dark Iron Ore prices (35g per stack on my realm). This 75 skill takes at least 600 dark iron ores wich isn't few i agree, but if you around lvl70 and want to get mining up quick it's the fastest way. This 600 ore, wich is 30 stacks cost me ~150g, and saved hours of bored grinding.

Hellfire Peninsula is the best place to farm Fel Iron ore because there are no other types of ores in the zone. Every other zone has some Adamantite. You will get fewer Fel Iron Ore in every other zone. The respawn time is fast enough that you don't have to go around the whole Hellfire Peninsula to farm effectively.
