Rest of the stuff is bareable as you can speed level areas with weak area exclusive monsters like Jagris, Girros, etc.

Just take it out into the guiding lands and farm the mining outcrops for the dragon coal chunks. Guiding lands is the best way to farm for steamworks fuel. This is how I do it. Have geologist 3 and mine 3 out of 4 times when its red. My route is coral > rotten > volcanic > wildspire > forest > tundra and repeat.
Is there a better place to grind these stupid things? Malachite is most commonly found in LR, any map. D. Island/ moga woods have lots of mining spots. Areas 4, 8, 10 and 12 offer the most malachite in my experience. LR volcano is also good too. I used to go to and just farm it there.

Reach the guiding lands, level up one region to level 7, reach mr 100 and defeat ruiner nergigante, capture molys and reach mr 200 for the final quest. If you would actually use google for "how to increase guiding land regions fast" or for the achievements you would already know the anwser. And btw grinding MR doesnt take so long.
Play and kill things until you are the one dying too much. Find that monster's weaknesses by consulting the researcher or your hunter guide in the menu. Make an armor set and weapon that works best against it. Kill it and start the process again. Not every weapon and armor piece is worth your time though.
